Friends, we need your help!
If you haven't already heard by now, Vitek (drummer) passed away in a car accident while on tour in Russia a few days ago. Covan (vocals) was also injured, and is recovering in a hospital. Their families are suffering because of this tragedy and need assistance.
On our page, there is info for donations which many of you have already seen and even participated in. We really appreciate each person's individual contribution, especially to those who put the banners on their myspace profiles and reposted bulletins for us! We can't thank you enough!
For those of you who are interested in the Ebay charity auctions and the Tribute T-shirts, all that info will be readily available in the coming days so CHECK BACK WITH US SOON!!

There is also a show being played for their benefit in London on Monday December 10th; if you live in the area, check out tickets! I wish I could make it!
Help support these amazing guys in their time of need. I met them when they came to SLC last year and they treated me like I was the famous one. This is a horrible tragedy for anyone. Plus, it's great karma for you!

i had never heard decapitated before, but just the few songs on their myspace are absolutely amazing.
it's funny how people make fun of metal music for being talentless because it's all bellowing and roaring etc., but people outside just don't understand that there's a lot more to it than that. sure, it's the growling and the angry guitars of course.
but there's a community there too, and a community that cares about each and every band inside it. you don't see this kind of a reaction very often anywhere else.
RIP Vitek, and I hope i get to meet him on the other side.
